Starting the day…

Jo and Rua ready to start the day’s work – mild and showery weather with a light northerly wind helps to keep Rua cool.

Getting the gear on…

Rua always wears a lightweight muzzle so he can’t hurt any wildlife. He is trained to indicate the location when asked to ‘find’.

Over here…

Rua is positive there’s one in here!

We can live together…

Kororā are willing to coexist with humans who don’t disturb them and enjoy their noisy conversations and pungent smell.

Work done…

End of the day – is anyone coming for a swim before we go home?
